2024 Scholarships

Carolinas Meeting Scholarships

ULI strives to increase the diversity and involvement of a variety of members to enhance real estate and the ULI mission.  Annually, ULI Charlotte, ULI South Carolina, and ULI Triangle solicit applications for up to nine (9) scholarships.  This scholarship takes into consideration applicants:

  • Seeking to or is participating in the real estate industry or related fields, including development, architecture, planning, government, transportation, engineering, finance, sustainability, and non-profits;
  • Showing leadership and professional responsibility;
  • Are of a racial minority such as American Indian or Alaska Native or Indigenous, Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander;
  • Work in the public sector or non-profit sectors;
  • Or are under 35 years of age.

Membership in ULI is preferred but not required.

Accepted scholars must provide:

  • Photo and biography
  • By March 1, a short recap of session summaries and notes. Photos are welcome. A compilation of all scholar’s notes will be published as a summary of the meeting.

Scholars will receive a complimentary registration to the Carolinas Meeting.  All travel, lodging, and incidental expenses, outside the standard conference registration, are the responsibility of the recipient. After the meeting, scholars will provide notes on sessions attended to help with a post-event recap.
