ULI strives to increase the number of members of color in leadership positions. This scholarship recognizes the individuals, through sharing their varied cultural perspectives, will enhance real estate and the ULI mission.
Applicants of racial minority that are interested in or beginning a real estate career path, are invited to apply. The scholarships will be awarded to applicants who fit the following criteria:
Available to public sector or nonprofit employees, elected officials, and appointed officials to the ULI experience, and retain their participation to create a more complete shared learning experience across all sectors of our industry. Applicants employed by nonprofits, local, county, and state government, and elected or appointed public officials from throughout North and South Carolina. ULI membership is not required but highly encouraged.
Available to members under 35 years of age who show continued commitment to ULI. Applicants should have a real estate industry or related field, including development, architecture, planning, government, transportation, engineering, finance, sustainability, and non-profits. Applicant must also show leadership and responsibility in their professional career.

Scholars will receive a complimentary registration to the Carolinas Meeting. All travel, lodging, and incidental expenses, outside the standard conference registration, are the responsibility of the recipient.
