As Durham grows, housing for all becomes more and more challenging, but community and civic leaders have made inclusive housing a priority. To ensure this priority becomes a reality, they are collaborating with DHA, developers, and funders to build creative solutions that allow people from all walks of life to call Durham ‘home.’ Tour some of these developments and learn how your community can implement these ideas.
TOUR DETAILS: Badge pickup and lunch is included begins at noon at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham in the Cotton Room @ Golden Belt (807 E. Main St., Building 2, Room 350, Durham, NC 27701). Welcome by Brenda Howerton, Durham County Commission Chair & Mark Anthony Middleton, City of Durham Mayor Pro Tempore and Overview of the Golden Belt Redevelopment—Justin Sacco, Vice President, Portfolio Asset Manager for LRC Properties.
Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather, as the tour includes walking. Following the lunch presentation, buses will depart from and return to the American Tobacco Campus.
