Scott Garvin established architecture, interiors, and planning firm Garvin Design Group in 2003 after having practiced architecture in South Carolina for more than 17 years. He has been directly involved in the design and management of more than $1 billion worth of projects (in construction value) in his career. Scott provides strategic oversight for every one of Garvin Design Group’s projects beginning with the programming and early design phases. Beyond his work as an architect, Scott is also a developer. His development projects include the conversion of several late 19th and early 20th century commercial buildings into multifamily residential buildings in the heart of downtown Columbia. Scott is an active community leader and philanthropist, Clemson fan, fisherman, and father to four very accomplished daughters.
