Mobile Workshop: The Shift South – Vibrancy in South End (Ticketed Event)

WALKING TOUR:  What was once the industrial edges of Dilworth and Wilmore, has transformed into a dynamic mixed-use neighborhood that has increasingly become a magnet for entertainment, nightlife, and most recently major commercial development. Join us for a Transit-Oriented Development & Placemaking Tour of South End along the LYNX Blue Line Rail Trail. Participants will see and learn about the history of the district and the trail while visiting multiple examples of transit and trail-oriented development (TOD) to see how the neighborhood and development community have embraced this signature piece of infrastructure through placemaking and active trail edges.  Walking tour with some light rail.  Note: Lunch is not included.
